G.O.A.T Bourbon Cocktail

3rd Turn Brewing at Oldham Garden’s bar whipped up this Dan-O’s inspired drink for the 2022 season of Whiskey Wednesdays, this is their Dan-O’s Got Your Goat Cocktail!

This cocktail uses Strawberry Chipotle Simple Syrup, Billy Goat Strut Bourbon, with Lemon lime soda and a lemon garnish making it the perfect drink for a warm summer’s night.

For the Strawberry Chipotle Simple Syrup:

• 1 quart strawberries, rinsed and stems removed

• 2 cups water

• 2 cups sugar

• 1/3 C Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning

• 1 oz fresh lemon juice

For the Cocktail:

• 2 oz Billy Goat Strut Bourbon

• 1 oz Dan-O’s Strawberry Chipotle Syrup

• Top with soda water or lemon lime soda

• A lemon

Preparation Instructions

For the Strawberry Chipotle Simple Syrup

1. Bring water, sugar and strawberries to a simmer.

2. Muddle Strawberries and add Dan-O’s Chipotle Seasoning and lemon juice

3. Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes

4. Strain through fine mesh strainer to remove the solids.

For the cocktail

1. In a rocks glass of Ice, combine bourbon and syrup. Stir to mix.

2. Top with soda water, or lemon lime soda.

3. Garnish with a lemon.

4. Enjoy!
